Our annual State Society Advocacy Conference brings together like-minded rheumatologists and advocates to network within our community, strategize about state advocacy, and learn from nationally-recognized experts. We hope you'll join us in September for this year's event!
Travel stipends are provided to our state society members, as a benefit of membership with CSRO - if you would like to represent your state society at the conference, email us for more information.

Registration
Registration is complimentary and includes:
- Entrance to the conference and all associated sessions, breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks on Saturday, September 10
- Welcome reception and dinner on Friday, September 9 at Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse
- Transportation is provided between the Conference venue and the Welcome dinner location
Agenda
This year's program will feature a variety of sessions that focus on current issues at both the state and federal level impacting rheumatology patients and practices, including a panel of state legislators and a keynote presentation from Damon Tweedy, MD.
Dr. Tweedy (bio) is a renowned physician, speaker, and author of the New York Times bestseller Black Man in a White Coat: A Doctor's Reflection on Race and Medicine. His keynote presentation will reflect on the small percentage of black physicians in the US and examine the implications for both doctors and patients, providing a unique perspective on health disparities throughout America.
