Representatives from CSRO-affiliated organizations gather to meet and discuss health care issues with congressional members, administration personnel and key health regulatory agency department representatives as well as experts in health care outside of government. Attendees also have the opportunity to visit with their US Congressional Delegates on Capitol Hill and the opportunity to network with attendees from industry leaders and other medical specialties / sub-specialties attending the conference.
Advocacy, Awareness and Communication
The CSRO is diligent in its efforts to assist state and regional organizations to become formal societies in order to provide leadership on rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases.
In fact, the CSRO collaborates with patient organizations and other national societies to elevate awareness and provide a forum for an exchange of ideas, fostering a collaborative environment.
Additionally, CSRO members focus on educating insurers, government officials and the corporate community on the impact that policy/procedural changes may have to the patient’s quality of care and disease management options.
