The CSRO continuously brings its own input to legislation brought by State Legislatures that affect patients and practices. With this effort, the CSRO empowers physicians with resources to advocate for themselves in their home states to develop a better environment for physicians and their patients.
Here you’ll find information about the issues affecting Rheumatology (Biologic Medicines, Non-Medical Switching, Step Therapy, and Uniform Prior Authorization) in State Legislatures. You can also see the Advocacy Campaigns to encourage the input of local Rheumatologists upon their state governments, and also the direct correspondence sent to the sponsors of important legislation.
Members are encouraged to download the materials from these varied campaigns and consult with CSRO staff on the possible introduction of legislation that benefits the rheumatologic community.
Join the CSRO in targeting health care initiatives in your state by signing up to receive regular updates that include advocacy opportunities in your home state.
