This unique professional development opportunity was designed specifically for rheumatology fellows to provide insight on practical, real-world issues not taught in academic training, sharing skills to help them successfully transition into their future roles in rheumatology. We hope to see you there in February!
We Pay the Way: CSRO provides reimbursement to rheumatology fellows, new rheumatologists 1-3 years out of fellowship who have not attended this event before, or select residents planning to pursue a rheumatology fellowship, to cover the cost of travel and lodging expenses for this event. This year's program will feature sessions on early career financial management, AI in healthcare, important issues in coding, and crucial tips for physician employment and contracts, all presented by field experts. A schedule of events is outlined below, noting times are subject to change.

ROOM RATE
CSRO has negotiated a rate of $289 (plus tax and fee) at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown. The deadline to reserve a room in CSRO’s room block is January 23, 2025, but the block may fill up before that date.
RESERVATIONS
Upon registering for this event, attendees will be emailed a confirmation message with a link to make their hotel reservation as part of CSRO’s room block.
Reimbursement recipients be advised that hotel reservations will only be reimbursed if booked as part of CSRO’s room block.
PROCESS OVERVIEW
CSRO provides reimbursement to cover the cost of travel and lodging expenses for qualified event attendees, which includes:
Eligible candidates should complete the online registration form and indicate your rheumatology affiliation. Once your submission is reviewed, an email will be sent to confirm event registration and reimbursement approval.
All attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel and travel, and paying all associated costs upfront. Reimbursement recipients can submit eligible expenses following the conclusion of the event.
REIMBURSEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
A full overview of stipulations and instructions will be provided to all confirmed reimbursement recipients in their registration confirmation email received from CSRO staff.

Nashville International Airport is approximately 8.5 miles from the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown. Attendees are responsible for coordinating their own transportation between the airport and the hotel.
CSRO will provide reimbursements only to those in attendance of the conference and requests that a minimum of 72-hour notice of cancelation is provided if you're unable to attend for any reason. It remains the responsibility of the individual to arrange cancelation of flight and hotel room.
