The CSRO Holds Another Successful Fellows Conference

On February 18, the CSRO held another successful Fellows Conference, complete with a host of interesting presentations on pertinent topics. The day started out with an enlightening talk on the state of rheumatology by Dr. Paul H. Caldron of Phoenix, AZ and ended with an informative session on physician employment contracts led by Steve McCoy, esq. of Glen Allen, VA. In between these two talks were a multitude of equally intriguing presentations, including:

• A talk by the White Coat Investor founder Dr. James Dahle, highlighting the importance of proper finance management during the early stages of a physician’s career.
• A presentation on critical coding issues that fellows should know given by Jean Acevedo, LHRM, CPC, CHC, CENT.
• A talk by James S. Haliczer, esq. on medical malpractice lawsuits and tips for navigating the court system while practicing medicine.

The CSRO is pleased with the success of the 2017 Fellows Conference and wishes to thank the fellows who attended as well as all the speakers who took time out of their busy schedules to come and share their wisdom and knowledge with the group. We are also happy to announce that the Conference was recorded and the video will be provided to those who were unable to attend via the CSRO website.
